| Description: | Back by popular demand! We will be hosting a fun wave championship and Sandyburger event in September this year. Based on swell, tides and, oh yeah, wind, we will decide on the location and the date closer to the time but we can guarantee a fun time for all. Newbies, don’t let the words “wave” or “swell” scare the bejaysus out of you!! The Sandyburger is about learning, socialising and getting to know other kiters and other beaches around the country. This event will be great for beginners as we will have some master classes from those in the know on how to handle those waves! We will also have spot prizes for “Check me out, Im riding waves! ” or more commonly known as “most improved” and “Ohhh, that must have hurt a little!!”, known to you and I as “best wipe out”. And for all of you already in the master classes, get out there and show us how it’s done! |
